Training and Supervision

Supervision

I am an AHPRA board approved supervisor for psychologists and have extensive experience supervising psychologists and other health professionals.

My experience includes:

  • Providing supervision to provisional psychologists undertaking their placement in NSW Health clinical settings and assessing their competency to progress with their qualifications.

  • Providing group supervision to NSW Health clinicians working in metro and regional settings.

  • Providing individual supervision to health professionals working towards their ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential.

  • Providing supervision to Master of Professional Psychology (5+1) students at University of New England.

  • Private supervision on eating disorders and general mental health to individual clinicians working in private practice.

I am able to provide once off case consultation or ongoing supervision to meet your professional development needs.

Training and education

I have experience providing training and education to a range of health professionals including psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, dietitians, nurses and doctors.

I currently contract for the Inside Out Institute to deliver full day workshops on Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM) for NSW Health community clinicians and Eating Disorders Inpatient Management (Adult) for inpatient NSW Health clinicians. I was involved in the design and development of the Adult Eating Disorders ECHO Program while at the NSW Statewide Eating Disorders Service at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH).

I also regularly develop and deliver training and education to health clinicians on a range of other topics outside of eating disorders including countertransference, deliberate practice and the mental health needs of the LGBTIQA+ population.
